BAJ Theatre in Warsaw - preparing performance for children based on books by Stian Hole in the framework of Polish and Norwegian co-cooperation.
The inspiration for this project are the books about clever and sensitive boy Garmann, written by Stian Hole, Norwegian graphic artist and writer. He shows important problems as the child them see, the problems which the adults prefer not to talk about.
The aim of the project is creating performance based on books “Garmann’s Summer” and “Garmann’s Street” in the framework of Polish and Norwegian co-operation. In this performance addressed mainly for children will be used various kinds of theatre, especially theatre of animation.
The place of preparing performance will be BAJ Theatre in Warsaw. Project will start at the beginning of 2010. The premiere will be planned in October 2010.
The project assumes presentation this performance in Poland and in Norway.
To obtain funds for realizing performance (and accompanying events), we are going to apply the project to the Cultural Exchange Fund supported by the EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norway Financial Mechanism (deadline: 30th November 2009).
We are looking for Norwegian composer and theatre in Norway who would like to be our partner in this project. This project is still be preparing so we would be grateful for all suggestion from our Norwegian partners.
