Garage Gang Group from Ukraine initiated the international photo project which was supported by 30 photographers from different countries with their works to call the attention to gender issues that truly depend on how women are perceived and what role they play in society. Now we are raising funds to present the project to Ukrainian public starting March, 2010.

This project, called 'Woman at the beginning of the 3rd millennium', has collected the captions of women of three generations from all over the world. It will serve as 'ice-breaker' for civic conversation on such important subject as role of the women in the modern society.
Major activities consist of three parts: conference with speakers and discussions on gender issues, exhibition tour across major Ukrainian cities to draw attention of the general public and photo album publication.
