| Municipality of Van (Turkey) is searching for fruitful partnerships to realize the project of WanSanat Art and Culture Center, which serves as a youth meeting-point where young people are able to improve their artistic, occupational and entrepreneurial competences. The project will be realized in Van, targeting a wide ranging group of beneficiaries from children at primary education age to young people who are either going through higher education or are not yet employed.We believe by offering proper tools within our related context such as, (i)seminars and workshops from various disciplines of art with partecipance of local, national and international artists/trainers, (ii) drama, acting, directing, literature and photography workshops, (iii) drawing, folk-dancing, music workshops, the project will enable young beneficiaries to equip themselves with desirable artistic and occupational skills that are potential assets regarding both their personal and their prospective professional developments. The aims of the project are: - Improving artistic education of youth and artistic awareness of the beneficiaries in general. - Promotion of social tolerance through artistic tools with partecipance of international partners. - Stimulation of international artistic personnel and artwork mobility. - Creating a communal perception of art by exchanging experience, know-how patterns and local traditions with partner institutions. - Constructing a fusional understanding of art with the inputs of transnational partnerships. Municipality of Van has numereous previous experiences on implementing international projects.
