Arts Alive in Heritage Buildings - Looking for European Partners to exchange artists and best practice

Arts Alive links today's arts and crafts with past heritage. The English
County of Norfolk has many fine and important historic buildings and a
rich cultural heritage strongly linked with mainland Europe. Arts Alive
aims to open up this cultural heritage to a wider audience, and to
demonstrate the marvellous arts and crafts which enrich these historic
buildings, and which are much needed today for conservation, restoration
and new commissions.
Arts Alive wishes to:
* Explore its historical artistic links with the European mainland
* Bring together artists and craftspeople in an exchange programme
* Build up teams of artists and craftspeople to work across
partner states to both demonstrate and to teach their skills on live
restoration and conservation projects and possible new commissioned work
* Produce educational toolkits for children and young people to
enhance curricular learning
* Mount a major exhibition in 2013 as a culmination of the project
Arts Alive is seeking partners in this exciting enterprise.
Arts Alive already operates as a partnership organisation in Norfolk.
