PROJECT IN CRACOW: CULTURE FOR DISABLED CHILDREN (corrected)

The non-governmental organization from Cracow is looking for partners from Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein for a project to be submitted under the Cultural Exchange Fund (part of 'Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2004-2009'). The project will base on co-operation of 3 volunteers from Poland with 3 volunteers from partner country. These 6 people will work together with disabled children. Members of the project will have determined tasks, e.g.: organization of goings out for exhibitions, concerts, movies, performances; organization of amateurish mime shows (performances played by volunteers for children); organization of therapy by music – after consulting with specialist; help in taking care of children and giving any needed help in organizing art therapies.

We are looking for volunteers who are interested in culture and willing to help charitably and disinterestedly to people in need. Our project establish that all the volunteers are amateurs – both in social help and culture. However, they should be experienced in activity at cultural organization or voluntary service.
